After 20 years of progressive HR experience, Julie founded CultivateHR.

Launching her own business has been a dream many years in the making. Her passion for helping others combined with her specialized knowledge and expertise is the foundation of CultivateHR.

Cultivate HR provides comprehensive and fully customizable solutions for human resources teams, business leaders and individuals.

Experience

 

Julie brings 20 years of progressive HR experience in a variety of industries including healthcare, renewable energy and critical infrastructure. Over the course of her career, Julie has established, developed, and led several key areas of Human Resources including communications and strategy, talent engagement and management, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. She is a well-respected thought leader who inspires followership through her hands-on approach to leading teams through periods of rapid growth while implementing new programs and establishing scalable infrastructure.

Community and Family

Julie is passionate about demonstrating a purpose-infused leadership approach. She serves as a mentor and coach to emerging talent and is active in her community through service as the Human Resources Chair and Secretary of the Board of Directors for Operation Food Search in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Julie is married to her amazing husband, Kurt and dog mom to Mae and Phoebe. Julie enjoys traveling, working in her garden and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Education

 

Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University and earned a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Missouri, Saint Louis.

She is active in the Human Resources field through membership in the Society for Human Resources Management, follower of key influencers, and avid learner attending numerous training sessions.
